Smart Ways to Find the Size – Without Asking Directly
Here are gentle, considered approaches if you are planning a
surprise gift and want to keep it under wraps:
1. Borrow a ring they already wear (if you can
without tipping them off). Bring the ring into our store and we can match the size.
2. Enlist a trusted friend or family member! Someone
who knows them well might be able to causally find it out under a different
pretext.
3. Observe during “for fun” jewellery or ring shopping! Casually bring them to our store and we can help you discretely determine the size sandwiched between looking and trying on various of our pieces in store.
4. Use a paper or string trick (while they are
relaxed/sleeping). Wrap a piece of string or dental floss around their finger
while asleep or gently trace an existing ring’s inner circumference on paper. This
method is less precise but can help!
5. If all else fails – size up a little! Always go
for a slightly larger size rather than too small, because resizing down is
usually easier than up!
